My journey into photography began with the birth of my first child, a profound moment that sparked my appreciation for tangible memories. Now, over a decade later, I've worked continuously to capture life's fleeting moments, recognizing the importance of preserving them for generations to come.

I would describe my style as calm and detail-oriented, with a heavy emphasis on film photography. 

When working with clients, I believe in a collaborative approach. I like to be involved in the planning process, particularly in understanding my couples' expectations and preferences. By actively engaging with them, I ensure we allocate sufficient time for what matters most on the day. This collaborative process allows me to tailor my services to their vision and ultimately achieve the desired outcome.


One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is the ability to hold a story in my hands and deliver it to a couple after their wedding day. There's a profound satisfaction in capturing moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.

 Tailor James, the brand, was created as a representation of the desire to provide a custom experience for each couple. an elevated approach to choosing which photography services fit their needs best, the flexibility to create something unique, and to provide an experience that feels personal and attentive. Kelly is the owner and lead photographer, accompanied by her team of second shooter’s and/or assistants on the wedding day.
